i dont understand this uai stuff.
BUT.
i you have crap ranks, average marks and then study real hard and get high marks in the hsc exams.
does it still get you no where because of your crap internals?

that depends. If you go to james ruse, but have shitty ranks, youll still ace the average schools where youre coming first due to their high scaling.
I guess if you get crap ranks, then you would need to aim for top marks in externals to cancel out the effects of a bad rank, hence lower moderated assessment mark.
