Pretty much in the title, how do I read the room for my classes?
eg. Central Wing 2062 or Cello Lab Scientia LG07

The words represent the building. The 2062 means "Level 2, Room 62". For LG07, it means "Lower Ground, Room 7".

2062 most certainly means Room 2062. But the initial 2 does indeed indicate level 2. You will not find a Room 62 on Level 2 of the Red Centre. I can guarantee you that.

So that's in the John Niland Scientia Building (commonly referred to as the Scientia Building), the name of the Lab is "Cello" and it is located in the Lower Ground floor, room LG07.

Look here: http://www.facilities.unsw.edu.au/sites/all/files/page_file_attachment/KENC - Campus_6.pdf

There's a northern and southern side (attached to H20 Civil Eng) to the building (G19). I believe the room is on the southern side because the northern side has a lecture theatre, but if it's not on one side, it's obviously on the other.

Also on the matter of levels, knowing how many levels that building has is important. For example, Mathews has 16 floors so floors 10 and above begin with 10, 11..., 16, e.g. 1011. So that's Level 10, room 1011, not, Level 1, room 1011. Red Centre only has 5 levels (iirc) so if you see 1011, then it's obviously Level 1, room 1011.
