Last year I got screwed over and spent excessive amounts if time at school...how many hours on average do you attend?

I got at school at about 7:45am everday...stupid private schools and their stupid super early bus timetables. And I'd leave at about 4...stupid late private school timetables

Mon: 8:15-3:15
tues: 8:15 - 6pm
Wed: 8:15 - 10pm (YES 10PM WTF)
Thur: 8:15- 3:15
Fri: 8:15- 3:15

So that was about 45 hours of school a week plus the extra time waiting for buses/getting their super early is an extra 5ish hours a week....So in the end I was at school about 50 hours a week

thurs - 8:55 - 3:15
fri - 8:55 - 3:15

I miss out on lunch 4 times a week though Thats the most important part of a school day

I hated missing out on lunch...on tuesdays we had sport startin at like 15min into lunch and on friday's we had to clean during most of our lunch....and in like yr 7-11 we had 15min of sports in 2 other lunch times a week which had an extra 15-20min of gettting changed and to the right place for your sport...so for a few years I only had like 1 full day of lunch

Ari, explain the 10pm Wednesdays plx.

Wednesday - compulsory lessons and study till 10pm

And for all of high school at my school they had wednesdays till at least 4:40pm

For year 12 it was:

Normal school hours
3:15-3:30 - break
3:30 - 6 - lessons/study
6-7 - dinner
7- 10 - study/lessons (usually a 5min break at 8:30ish)

Wow Ari, you were at school for long hours... And i thought i had long hours...

Long hours weren't exactly beneficial...studying at school is like studying at school with every single one of your friends on MSN and you with them...inefficient...however, it was quite enjoyable.

Studying with friends = Bludging.

Therefore I always study at home.

Start at 8:45am each day, Mondays - Wednesdays, end at 4:30pm, Thursdays end at 2:30pm and Fridays end at 3:20pm.

i start at 8:07 every morning and finish 2:30 every arvo.. with tuesday being the exception due to it being a tafe day.
if we dont have tafe we get off at 11:30
or though if we have extension anything it goes after schhol....
maths ext is on thursady for 3 hrs after school
eng ext is on tuesdays for 2 hours

monday,tuesday,thurs i start at 8:45 and go to 2:45.
wed and fri i start at 8:45 but finish at 2:07 and 12:50

Hey i should SO be counted....... you guys count your frees and recess and what lunchs you have as 'school time'.. so my living at school time should be counted... haha ok, ok!

Wekk A and B (while my class timetable changes, my ext. classes do not!)
Monday - 8am - 5pm
Tuesday - 8am - 3:30pm (sport until 5:30)
Wednesday - 8am - 5:30pm
Thursday 8:30am - 3:30pm (sport until 5:30)
Friday 8am - 5pm

Sunday - i normally spend between 1 and 5 up at school working on ext. 2...

Not to mention of course... always being at school!!!!! (which doesnt count supposedly! but is kind of stressing me at the moment!)

Anyhoo, that is about 48 hours a week.....
