I believe it's the top 1.6 % approx .the top 1% of the state.
so however many people sit and you can work it out from there
Your uai is your ranking, not a mark
Your school rank does not have a huge impact on your UAI. Your school can be ranked last, and you still get 99+ (correct me if I'm wrong), but in this situation it would be advantageous to have "high scaling" subjects, such at Adv. English, MX1, MX2, Chem, Phys, Eco and so on.SO.
How many people will get a UAI of 99+
and...
How well do i need to do in order to get such marks in a 70ish ranked school?
Thanks
you must have misunderstood me, i didn't say what mark i need to get , i said how well i need to do in a 70th ranked school and i know its a rank, i know its the top 1%ish, i want to know how many people are included in that 1%, you should really read the question before you answer...the top 1% of the state.

No need to get snappy, you should be thankful anyone even answered you. What this person said was pretty much right. The UAI is a rank, you have to be in the top 1.6% of the HSC cohort to get a UAI of 99.00+. You obviously understand this much. But you're basically asking us to answer something that there are no concrete figures for yet, given that nobody actually knows how many people will be in the HSC cohort for your year group. But just say there are around 60,000 people in your HSC cohort. About 900-1000 people will get a 99+ UAI.you must have misunderstood me, i didn't say what mark i need to get , i said how well i need to do in a 70th ranked school and i know its a rank, i know its the top 1%ish, i want to know how many people are included in that 1%, you should really read the question before you answer...
