For every technique, I used a quote.
I used eight quotes in my Hamlet essay (we had to make a judgement upon Hamlet's character).

For my belonging essay, I included two quotes from every stanza (when talking about Skrzynecki), and then a technique and explanation of how that contributes to the theme of belonging.

Took a while to remember, eh.

if you can remember lots, put them in. but don't just throw them in anywhere. remembering quotes and techniques will really only get you marks if they're relevant.

It isn't a good idea to have "set" quotes if you want to achieve band 6 level. It's best to use some quick, single word quotes (showing close knowledge of the text) and then use longer quotes and link to a technique.
You shouldn't aim to use one quote per stanza or anything like that.

depends how many points you make. try and get a quote with every point you make, and if possible back it up with explanation of a technique
