Hey jst wonderin how much every1 spent on their dresses for formal? Everyone at Manly is either spendin too much or not spendin much at all!

I think there was a thread on this a while ago...:p Mine was like $150 I think, but I've worn it for another thing also (a wedding)...many of my friends though are spending over $400-500 on theirs...

mine was 260 if i remembered correctly

my friend brought a dress from my other friends mum's shop for $50 and then she altered the whole thing costing her an additional $200.
i was like W-T-F!
she had these nice swarovski ear rings and necklace aswell~! *sigh*

we have 2 formals. ive bought a george dress on sale 100 bucks, another george from a shop closing down 25 bucks, bot gorgeous but i had a brainwave. and an army print bed sheet. and a design imagination. hence i might make another way cool one....

My god.... i spent 1000 on mine.
Mind you i bought in for yr 10 formal, and ended up going to my b'fs yr 12 that year instead, so now i get to wear it twice.
I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth it!!!!

im planning to find a cheap designer dress from paddington for around 300 kekek.. yep, im waiting for the sales season ^^,

my year 10 cost about 320 altered.
this year is costing me a fair bit... i'm getting it made up. $250 dress maker's fee, $50 on diamontes, $120 on fabric... so around $420. wow that's a lot more than i intended...

after spending heaps of year 10 formal dress for year 12 i am going to say to mysel "$100 dollars or less" ( then hopefully i will end up with something less than 300 at least, that is still heaps cool)

Mum bought me mine, the reason it was 1000 is because there is really nothing i've ever seen like it - should post a pic of it on here (as soon as i get the dress from parents house, digital camera, etc etc).

my dress cost about 170 from new york, it is kinda semi formal but its good i can wear it on other occassions

I don't know, as I have not purchased it at this stage. I'm still waiting for one which makes me look really pretty. If not I will go to the formal as God made me.
