ok now i kno that there was one like this but hear me out. i go to a school where there are very few asians, although i kno a lot of people its level at which i kno them is not to the point where i would hang out with them...... so yea... i go to cab library and see groups coming in n i think "y couldnt i belong into a group like that" well n yea...... whats would be the approach to form new friendships... i'm afraid that i might turn into one of those "socialphobic" people although it might b setting it cuz i'm pretty shy*

Dude... honestly, i hang with azn friends but does it matter? I can tell you want to meet people that are asian!! and it doesnt matter dw bout it! I love hanging with my other friends as well.
Friends will come! I go library alot too and a way i meet friends is i help em out in their studies. Other then that i don't because i rather get my work done.
Hmmm.. well a good tip is don't approach them smiling like crazy that scares ppl ive tried it ! How bout borrow their stationery or ask em for help? thats a good way! then slowly change the subject!

Just go and approach some people. Sit next to somebody new in class? Join some sort of sporting club or whatever else your school has. You've gotta be in it to win it.

sometimes, its not simply because of the fact that their "asian." Sometimes its because you want to hang out with people that shares the same attitudes, humour and so forth with you. Take our school for example. It is very racially divided, but everyone is good with each other. I hang out with the asians but I'm friends with the anglos as well. But sometimes when I hang with the Anglos, i feel somewhat out of place simply coz theres a diff. "atmosphere".. not that they do it on purpose, its just the way it is. =)

Hahaha, my schools divided into drinking habits, seeing as theres only one asian and thats about it for other races..
Theres the group that ALL drink every friday and saturday night even if it means having to drink goon and just hang out playing xbox, the guys that drink every friday and saturday nights but also smoke pot a lot of the times (and are sleazy), the group that most of them drink most friday and saturday but some of them stay designated driver (which never happens in any of the other groups), and then theres a group of people who dont/rarely drink but i dont even know where they sit :/. And the only other group is the sensible group who only drink on occasions such as one of the group having a party etc..
And it's weird cause each group seems to have their own main drink..
