whats the most effective way to quickly get comfortable with analysing unseen texts? 😭😭

when i encounter these questions, i tend to look for literary/poetic devices first and i try to describe the effect (ie emphasises how the character feels) but as i keep going i end up yapping the whole way, and its not very cohesive or concise. writing is a big weakness of mine, both short answer and essays but i guess targeting one by one is probably the most ideal way to go so i dont overload myself along with studying other subjects ofc.

general or specific tips are appreciated, thank you!

in the first sentence, purely answer the question. A question talking about how language is used to convey the paradox? NAME the paradox. A question talking about how irony is used to show contrasting emotions? NAME THE CONTRASTING EMOTIONS. Not only does it guarantee a mark, but it acts as a really strong anchor point that you can continuously revert back to - which might help you to write cohesively.

if the question asks about language or techniques in general (ie how does the composer use literary devices to convey human experiences), do i address the kinds of techniques in the paradox? i usually answer with something like "the composer uses literary devices to convey the individual human experience of grief" but i feel like "the composer uses literary devices" just sounds like im repeating the question.

specifically, how would i answer the question to address the types of language used in your example "how language conveys the paradox?"

sorry that i sound so dumb at english but im just really weak at it and slow at improving 😭 😭
