Hey,

Ive got enough info for me to do psy, however hows the commerce degree at ANU? Also since commerce is a widely popular course, furthermore since ANU is getting more popular, do u think the UAI cut off for Com/Psy would rise above 85? ppl say that since it has risen by 5 last yr, its unlikely it'll rise again, but i just wanna make sure. Thanx

The cut-offs for both pysch and comm are set off the same base rate (driven largely by arts and eco/comm). eg if you have the UAI for psych then you ahve the UAI for comm.

As far as UAI rises go. It is generally thought that a large rise is virtually impossible and even a slight one fairly unlikely. This is because of the 5 point jump last year, the slump of entry level UAIs in Sydney especially UNSW. The ANU is also reviewing membership of VTAC which cuts exposure. And as a note the Bos-o-meter is registering far less interest this year as compared to last year.

You're aware though that you're talking about doing a combined degree of B. Commerce / B. Science (Psych). When you could just do Commerce with an out of faculty major in pyschology. Though of course if you did do this it would reduce what you could do number wise in terms of commerce majors.
