LOL vous les gars vont tous à l'échec si vous pouvez lire ceci, vous êtes tellement voué à l'échec que l'étude pendant 14 jours d'affilée 24/7 ne peut toujours pas vous aider à passer. plaisante les gars seront briser la tâche de parole =)

Yes, only in conversations. It's informal. Like "Je sais pas" etc

Yeh, but for the oral exam, would it be best to keep 'ne' or is it fine if we dont. And also, sometimes I say it, sometimes I don't (without even realising) so I'm guessing that this is not a good thing...

Yes it's fine in oral, but don't use it too much.
French people tend to skip out the "ne" part a lot in everyday language, so it's fine.
Just make sure you don't skip the "pas" part and only say "ne" because "ne" doesn't mean anything.
