does your mark matter at all or are we just playing for the ranks and fighting for positions?
say student A get 90% and comes last
student B gets 60% comes first in his school what difference how does this thingb work i reckon its kinda fked up lol.
say student c get 67% and comes middle of the cohort

It's all about the ranks. If the lowest mark in student A's cohort is 50 for the exam, student A will get 50 for their internal.
If someone in student B's cohort gets 100 in the exam, student B will get 100 for their internal.

Its all about ranks, the internal marks, along with the external marks that the cohort gets, is used by Board of Studies to determine the difficulty of the exams set by the schools, and then modify internal marks.
