My upcoming assessment is on the 'Identification of Ions' prac (precipitation, flame tests, AAS). What kind of tasks and questions could I be asked?

Something like you are given an unkown mixture, blah blah using flame test and other tests, identify the unkown anion/cation

Yeah I just had a practical task based on something similar. Revise all the anion and cation and learn ALL equations related to their testing. Learn both qualitative and quantitative methods of testing and how to compare them. Learn gravitmetric analysis and any applications of AAS and flame tests and also their limitations, safety procedures and methods. Also learn why some apparatus are used over others (e.g. why is the platinum/nichrome loop used). Finally do some HSC questions related to tests.

Good luck!
