Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, I haven't used this site much before. If in English Advanced they ask for 'one or more related texts' is it better to write on one in more detail? Or two in less detail? I think my teacher said it's better to write one in more detail because they go off the best related text you wrote about anyway, but apparently an ex student said it's better to do two because that way you're showing the marker you have a broader knowledge of belonging or conflicting perspectives or whatever What do you think?

Do whatever you feel gives you the ability to write the best response you can. I always stick to one related text unless they specifically ask for two. You will get people who say "ONE or more actually means do TWO or else!!!" - that is rubbish. "ONE or more" means exactly what it says; it's not a trick - do at least one, do it well, and you're set.
