can BOS specify texts?

ie, can they specify that you do a certain text from the stimulus booklet, or a coleridge poem?

Theoretically they can. They can definitely specify a Stimulus text, but it is unlikely they will specify a Coleridge poem. Go to the "How many coleridge poems?" thread in the imagininative journeys forum for more info.
