Inflation Rate (1 Viewer)

Hey,

I'm having trouble finding the inflation rates in the following years: 1993, 1994, 1999 and 2002.

I've tried my hardest to find them on the net, but have had no luck.

I've tried all combinations... like "1994 inflation australia" and adding different words but nothing seems to be working for me.

Thanks heaps in advanced. I appreciate any help you can give.

When in doubt use the ABS or the RBA. Honestly it's not that hard.

Well... it's hard for me... I'm not very good at reading those inflation tables...

Ok you really need to learn how to read a table.

Inflation Rates (by 1/4):

1993:2.4,2.6,2.7,2.5
1994: 2.3, 2.1, 2, 2
1999:1.5,1.6,2,2.2
2002:3.6,3.1,3,2.4

The rates I've given are measures of market prices excluding volatile items.

Open ABS 6401.0 (CPI) which is an excel spreadsheet, then to get the yearly percentage change (corresponding quarter of previous year) click on series "Percentage Change from Corresponding Quarter of Previous Year ; All groups ; Australia ;" - A2325847F
