Is it ok to be friends with your boyfriends friends? (1 Viewer)

here is my situation:
-my boyfriend "mitch" and i have been together for three years.
-he has a good friend her name is "skye".
-now skye has a boyfriend "nick".
-now "nick" and i are friends...
-but "mitch" and "skye" think there is something going on..

now i don't want to ruin, "nicks" relationship with "skye"
and my relationship with "mitch", though he has become more understanding of the matter...

but i guess the real question i am asking then is,
Is it posible for a guy and a girl to be friends, can i be friends with my boyfriends friends?

now you should note:
-that i don't and wouldn't want anything to happen with "nick"
because i am in love with my "mitchy", and its not in my nature to do something like that...

but what about guys? is it the same?

lol yeah they all seem a bit insecure, like is it just you and nick hanging out on your own sometimes? coz that would be weird, and maybe thats why they have such suspicions??

i loved my ex boyfriends friends, they were soo much great fun lol and we even used to all pick on my boyfriend together lol
but i wouldnt go out with them if my boyfriend wasnt there.. id jst see it too weird.. it jst happened that im their friends girlfriend and that is all.. i think of it like that and nothing weird happens between us!
of course u can be friends with the opp sex.

i dont think there is any reason for him to be sus about it. the only time when i think it's weird is if you have a good guy mate and you hang out like all the time, especially if its just by yourselves.

to me, i'd say it's ok, as long as you don't get too intimate with his friends....like being alone with one of his friends, is not going to look that good... but that really depends on how both of you guys view it, after all, everybody's relationship is to their own...me...i'd prefer to hang out in a group with my bf's friends...but half of our friends are eachothers friends anyway, so it's not really a problem. If your guy is allowed to be good friends with skye, then i don't see anything wrong with you being friends with this nick dude.

just lunch and stuff at the mall, talk to each other while where working ect... nothing unusual.
