So i do 2u and I'm easily in the top 5 of people who do 2u, but im ranked in the high 30s because i just cant compete with the people that do ext despite doing over 10 past papers in exam conditions. So would it be worth my time learning harder 2u topics these holidays even though they wont be in my trial?

I thought maybe the reason 3u people are so good at 2u is because they've done harder 2u topics .
Majority of ext 1 students do find 2u easier, which is probably why they do well in 2u. But this doesn't entirely mean they will be better than a 2u student at 2u.

It's rare for it to happen. Top 3 in 2u in my school all do ext 1 maths. Those who only do 2u in my school are no where near in competing for the top spots in 2u.
