I did ISYS114 last sem....and it seemed like such a waste of time (no offense to the people who enjoyed it)

Are all isys subjects the same? Or is it only like in the first year isys subjects?

I found ISYS224 to be much better. Although, I've yet to find somebody else to agree.

ISYS227 is also a little irritating. Those are all the ISYS subjects I've done (and will do).

I did ISYS114 in sem 2, 2008 too. idk, i liked half of ISYS114 - SQL was good.

ISYS201 is badly taught and is nothing like ISYS114. Lecturers = fail and you're basically expected to code in Java without having learnt it properly. Tutes are helpful, and Pracs are basically just going through Oracle's website. Don't do 201 unless you have to lol.
