It was "Chichi no hi" or something along those lines - Father's Day gift.

Yeh, it was for father's day. Hard to catch though. I didnt think that father's day did exist in Japan o_O It is a western holiday isnt it?

Bleh, half the stuff was non-contextual. I mean, seriously, that reading diary entry was TERRIBLE! I DOUBT a native Japanese speaker would say: "Wasabi! Takusan! Karai!" even when overdosed with wasabi. Like, seriously, that sounds like what someone who has undertaken 2 weeks of Japanese would say.

I doubt that a native japanese person would be unaware of the wasabi in the sushi -.-; I almost thought that it was an Australian person doing exchange in Japan when I skimmed it.
