why the hell is your name on the first page, and there's writing space on the other side? even though they *white out* the name, pretty sure "hostile markers" can see your name anyway.

They cut out the actual writing paper and then scan it into a computer so the markers never actually see your name.

The markers of pages with your name on them will be marking online and so will only see the pages that you wrote on and none of the pre-printed pages. They don't even get your actual student number anymore but a different number altogether.
