I loved it!!

Absolutely brilliant movie and very heartwarming :shy:

A good portion of it is in subtitles. Definently worth seeing though. One of the best dramas I have seen in a long time. The motif of honor is done very, very well. Almost every character is extremely likable and how noble the lead character is just brings a tear to your eye

Just watched it tonight

It was an incredible movie!

Would definitely buy the dvd and might think about watching it again.
Acting was brilliant along with the capture of the emotion!

I'm looking to see it, but only because the director is doing Quantum of Solace at the moment.

If you really liked the film that much go and read the book it's based on (The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini). Seriously, it is a hundred times better than the film!!! The film skipped what I thought was the most heart-warming and tear-jerking part of the whole book and you are seriously missing out if you don't read it!!

This sounds like a journey, is it a physical one?
maybe good for english syllabus?

^^ That is exactly where I first read it. I studied it for VCE last year.
We certainly talked about journeys - it is physical and emotional, each reflecting the other etc etc etc, bla bla bla. It is testament to how good the book is that I still like it even after studying it!

I just saw this movie today. I thought I'd probably hate it because my mum dragged me along with her to see it and everyone else in the movie theatre was over the age of 50 but I loved it!
It was amazing and really made me think about things. It also made me cry, basically any movie that makes me cry is worth it I reckon.
Definitely a great movie.
