hey

do you guys think the UAIs for courses will increase by alot this year? which courses will go up the most? and which courses will go down? im guessing engineering at UNSW might decrease

and over the years, what is the largest jump UAI cutoff wise youve seen? ive heard of courses increasing by 10 marks, anyone seen higher?

cheers

apparently this year has the most hsc candidates "ever", so probably would be expecting some changes, but how much higher can the 99 courses go?

I'm not sure about the highest UAI jump but I think this one is by far one of the most incredible:

The University Of Western Sydney, Parramatta campus,

B Health Science/B Laws (705680)

2002 Cutoff: 96.60,
2003 Cutoff: 90.10

Whoa.....:p

yeh i reckon UNSW commerce will jump by at least 0.5. everyone i seem to be talking to wants to get into commerce..

but i doubt courses such as law/med will go up by much.

yeah but wat course shud i start at?

Well a good backdoor into commerce is economics, seeing as it has pretty much identical first year subs, so you can transfer into Commerce and still get your degree in the same amount of time. This is exactly what Minai did.

Wollongong seems to be jumping a bit too -- on average, 3 points across generic courses - arts, science etc...

University of Canberra

2004 cut-off: 98.65

22.65 points in 1 year... how did that happen?
