Late round offers- higher uai? (1 Viewer)

I always thought that for late round offers, the uai cut-offs would actually decrease... but i was looking at last years on the uac site.. and in some cases they sky rocketed. For example at Wollongong, the main round cut-off was 91.00 for arts/law. For the late round, it was 96.45 for the same course. Anyone care to explain because i am lost...

you are lost, late rounds tend to increase as late rounds offer LIMITED courses to choose from ie. (V) as most are filled up, then people are challanged to choose from a small number of courses that have vacancies, it which most cases its likely to go up my like 5 UAI points or something like that.
