wondering if it's allowed to take a law/com degree in different states? if i can't get into unsw i want to consider uq or monash, i know for med you can study in these universities but is it the same for law courses?

the states generally have a system to allow for interstate practice under the LP uniform law, so you will be fine.

the only thing to keep in mind is that some areas of law differ significantly between the states. whereas areas of law primarily governed by federal acts such as family law and patent law will have no significant differences between states, areas governed by state acts, may differ significantly between states, so depending on the area of law you want to work in, it may be of advantage to study your law degree in that particular state.
