Too late! hahaha...stupid Chemistry Contexts and teacher.

I knew I'd never seen it before. Oh well lol

Acids are gamma ray acceptors. They accept a gamma ray which makes them raise their energy state depending on the energy of the gamma ray (given by E=hf). The acid then decays back to its ground state, releasing an amount of quarks proportional to the change in mass (relativistically speaking) caused by the gamma collision...
