I think all you have to do is use tan30 to find the gradient. After that you use the two point formula to find the line equation.Stuck in this question. Find the equation of the line in exact general form, which has an angle of inclination of 30 degrees and passes through the point (4,-3) Which formula do i use??
square both sides ^^Can anyone do this?
I know how but I want to check my answer and see if my working out is right.
Graph it and read the solutions off the graph.Can anyone do this?

so tan 30 = 0.577 (round off) and use that as my gradient?
oh yea way easier xDGraph it and read the solutions off the graph.

This answer is correct.U sure thats a five? Cause thats a bit messy...
But i got
(-1-rt21)/2 <= x <= (1+rt21)/2
You can also check using calculator btw.
Why 'Less than'? Aren't both signs to be 'Less than or equal to'?U sure thats a five? Cause thats a bit messy...
