Undergrad med: JCU does not use umat, Usyd does not use umat for it's prvisional entry scheme but you must have ascertained a uai of 99.95+ or equivalent.

Exceptions apply for indigenous, international students, etc in certain cases.

USYD doesn't use UMAT because it's Grad Med, yeah?
They have a provisional entrance scheme for a combined course for yr 12 students it's essentially is graduate but they are almost given a guarentee of entry, UQ, ANU, etc also have one. Usyd is the exception as it does not use umat nor require gamsat for their provisional scheme.

does doing UMAT cover you for GAMSAT?
No GAMSAT is the test for graduate medicine, i.e. you must have completed or are in your final year of completion of an undergraduate course, etc. It is a test based on university level science, two essays, science and humanities MCQ's, etc.
