Hey

Im going to usyd into a very small faculty (40-60 students i rkn). Is it still easy to get to know people from around the campus? I mean i will probably sign up for a few clubs/societies but how else can i know more people from outside my faculty?

Thanks!

Some units are not mutually exclusive hence some students of other degrees may undertake study in one as an elective so you may meet them there. :p But clubs are a great way to make friends. :)

I met a few people tonight at a meet up for something else. Just find things that interest you and join them :p

After making a few good course friends, you might meet their non-course friends. There's also societies and clubs, as mentioned above. If you live in college or go to events, that's also an available avenue for meeting new faces.

Sounds like Built Environment/Architecture, Design, and Planning but I'm pretty sure that has more people than 40 to 60 in each year group.

I like having large groups to choose from. I had like 4 different groups of friends to choose from back home. Was awesome, and they were all really good friends.
