Hi, does anyone know of any good case studies for marketing strategies that also link to influences and processes?
The strategies need to be something the business has implemented/changed in the last 5 years.
Any suggestions are much appreciated! Thanks

heres some we went thru in class:
domino's anywhere: increased access to ordering pizza through technological means by amalgamating ordering systems with social media + tv ads to meet the rise in need of technologies and convenience in food deliv. so here u can talk abt tech companies partnerships ig

woolies "the fresh food ppl": u can give background on what woolies acc is and its influence in the supermarket chain industry. so the branding refresh (idk if it was 2021 or 2020) kinda affirmed its position as a competitor and hot spot destination for goods (eg fresh produce), so this strategy and rebranding increased reputation in the public eye = increase customer awareness. SOOO u can lead this to contemporary issues such as supporting local farmers with the type of eggs they sell AND meeting both society's and healthcare's needs for more healthy eating and sustainability --> rebranding company identity led to ____.

Thanks for that!! do you know any good ones for a pricing strategy? I was gonna do Apple with price skimming, but they have kinda been doing that the whole time.

YESS I DO!! BUNNINGS MF WAREHOUSE (not sure if this is directly related to pricing strategy but it might help a bit)
- strategy: 'everyday low prices'
- aim: to provide consistent/competitive pricing across product range
- effect: attracted price-concious customers and build long-term customer loyalty.
- conditions that gave rise: changing consumer behaviour + increasing preference for value-oriented shopping experiences

more detailed notes:
  1. price comparison: analysed pricing dynamics in retail industry (bunnings compared their prices with those of their competitors to ensure they offered competitive pricing)

  2. reducing the number of promotions and discounts = so instead, they focused on offering consistently low prices throughout the year = therefore eliminated the need for customers to wait for sales or compare prices across multiple retailers. INCREASED ACCESSIBILITY, MEETS SOCIETY"S NEEDS
  3. communication: "Everyday Low Prices" through various marketing channels, including tv and social media, online promotions, and in-store like posters or sum.
  4. feedback from consumers: bunnings actively sought customer feedback to assess the effectiveness of their pricing strategy (surveys on pricing perceptions over time to analyse trends n effectiveness)
