its a form of primary market research where a business, usually retail, gives a survey to customers as they leave the store.

What was the question?

from the stimulus:
Reinforce Concrete Products has a high level of staff absenteeism and staff turnover. Exit surveys indicate high levels of dissatisfaction with non-consultative management practices.

(b) identify 2 advantages of using an exit survey

Stimulus:
Waterswift Marine is an Australian manufacturer of small run-about boats. the company is planning to export boats to NZ, Malay. and pacific island countries. management is concerned about issues such as exchange rate variations and securing payments following the sale of its products

(c) outline FOUR issues associated with using joint venture partner when selling to global markets (4 marks)

from the stimulus, u can observe tat "exit survey" means survey given to employees prior to their exist, explaining their reasons etc etc.

joint venture (when company in a country joins with a biz in different country through $$$, management etc) issues - culture & language barriers
different biz practices
misunderstanding of biz goals
*cant think of another one in top of my head

i dun think u ve to worry about these qs, they not rlly in the syllabus.
