My friends and I were having an argument over this question, I think the answer is A, while they think the answer is C.





What do you think the answer is?

i got confused and put d but now that i look at it, i would think the answer is a

The answer is simply the second lightest compound (in terms of molecular weight).

Hex = 6 carbons
Pent = 5 carbons
Hept = 7 carbons
Oct = 8 carbons

The second lightest is 1-hexanol, the answer is A

Yeah I said that, but my friend said some confusing shit about how it takes them that long to detect it (the graph) & that time is going in the opposite direction!!!

EDIT:
Plus she had all these figure on the graph!!!

But everyone took her word for it, since she is dux & coming first in chem!!
