Medicine as a profession appeals to me because it is, for lack of a better word, an art. The clinal aspect of the study, the pure biology/chemistry - whatever mix you want to name it with - is my passion.Lexicographer said:Well, are either of those the reasons that caused you to want to study medicine?
Just tell the truth and you're fine.

They don't want to hear the same tired old story from TV - the unis want to know why YOU, the candidate in front of them, the individual applying, actually wants to become a doctor.
If you have an inspiring memory and all that then huzzah, that's what you say. But if not don't even try making one up, they'll see through it in a flash and bang goes the door in your face. Just tell the truth and you're fine.
