While I love Coldplay, I do think X&Y is overrated. It's no where near as great as their earlier two albums. It has a few great tracks, but overall, it's not brilliant.

I quite liked Don't Believe the Truth from Oasis. It's very Beatlesy, which I loved. It's not as cool as What's the Story Morning Glory, but it's still a solid listen!

Bloc Party, definitely. Sucked. Franz Ferdinand, definitely. SUCKED.

clap your hands say yeah is overrated but it's still a pretty fucking good album. i haven't gotten into broken social scene yet either. for me, illinois by sufjan stevens is overrated, i mean it's good...but not excellent.

and you could have it so much better rules...walk away is song of the year.
