Motion in A Straight Line Question (1 Viewer)

Can someone help me with parts d) and e)? The booklet that has this question says that d) is
x= (2R^2 g) / (2Rg-u^2)
and that e) is u=11200 m/s, but I have no idea on how to get to any of those answers

Although this is technically doable in Ext 1, I believe it has only ever been asked in Ext 2 (though I'm prepared to be corrected on that).
