i agree with you 'i_like_black' except Q5 i said c because i remeber reading somewhere in the text book that automated processing lines have been slow to develop in the AFI for the exception of brewing and dairy...meaning they are not the most recent development...but i could be wrong ...anyone have any other thoughts?

My reasoning behind picking D was.. A and C definately out. Then genetic engineering I don't even remember learning about in Food Technology, I knew it from Biology or something.. so D.

No idea if it's correct.

well, my teacher thinks i got the 10..I agree with you i_like_black. Yeah some of those you rally had to read the question properly! Initailly Q2 was a toss up, but clearly when you see "food technologist" it can only be (B) food manufacture. Also, I was almost about to put (B) genetic engineering (for Q5) but that isnt mechanisation, so it had to me (D) processing lines. Pretty good paper all up i thought.

Yep, it's the old a.b.d.a.d.c.d.b.b.b, which i think is what you guys decided was it. That would be totally awesome if correct. I tossed up over whether q5 was D or C for ages, but i was definate it wasn't genetic engineering (my paper gained one big fat line through that one!) because that isn't mechanisation. Like Kristy_87 said, processing lines have been generally slow to develop in the industry - but isn't that exactly WHY D is right? Because it's the MOST RECENT of the developments listed?
9 was definately B- the others have nothing to do with marketing plans.

I count 4/10 going off mine but thats not to say i didnt get some wrong. How did you go in the rest of it though? MC is always confusing cos they put little tricks in that you can only pick up if you analyse the question somewhat. Im sure you did fine :)
