yeh i thought this but then i read the question again and it says 'the ratio of secondary to primary.

read the question properly... even though it is stepped up the question is asking the ratio of secondary to primary n not primary to secondary....

the only thing im not sure about is Q5, cuz i thought that was a screwed up q that requires general relativity... thought might have been B, 6.0 but didnt wanna risk it...

Damn i put A for 14, i really wasn't sure of it... Yeh i put D for 5, but the question involves acceleration, which isn't dealt with in special relativity, so i dunno.

i think question 9 is a trick question........i dnt think ur supposed to do the sin60........but the sin30.....coz if u look at it, that isnt the angle..........not 100% sure.......but i put (b) as the answer

Actually isnt it C? because the number of turn on the secondary must be greater than primary?

No it's sin60. Think about what happens when it would be perpendicular (i.e. sin90), it would be a max.

i'm pretty sure this is right,

5 is B not d, i put d, but my freind pointed out it is fromt he perspective of the traveller hence must be <10years

nup, absorption of waves is due to the energy being the same as the energy transistion of electron energy levels

actually i read in 1 of the books that Hertz put glass between them to block UV light and quartz between them to let UV light through.... and note the difference in sparking...

i thought D was right cuz it related directly to the photoelectric effect, C was true but didnt relate to photo electric effect, the other 2 choices were just wrong
