My FF3 browser keeps spontaneously closing (1 Viewer)

My firefox 3 browser keeps spontaneously closing. It closes down and a message box pops up and says 'Firefox has stopped working', sometimes it asks if i wanna send error report.

Ive done a full virus scan and i dont have any problems.

Anyone know any causes and how to stop it?

mine used to do that as well. i just uninstalled it and downloaded chrome.

i'd love to do that, but FF3 has all my bookmarks, shortcut links, download accelerator, gmail notifier addon, video downloader addon, and some other extremely handy addons..

That used to happen to me for a bit but then i upgraded to the lastest FF. So try upgrading.

i already got the latest, ie 3.0.8, i ran the 'check for updates' and it said that im fully up to date.

That's weird cause mine used to do that as well, but then i changed to Opera and then changed back cause I thought uninstalling and installing again might work and it did. If you wanna keep the plugins and whatever can't you try looking for them again?

Run Firefox in safe mode: Safe Mode

If it doesn't keep closing, it's an add-on or something. If it does, it's FF itself.

k i got google chrome now.

my god it runs fast, if only it had a gmail notifier like FF3 does, and a download accelerator addon like my FF3 does...

i recommend it.

all google chrome needs is a gmail notifier and a download accelerator addon. those 2 were the most commonly used addons when i used ff3.

chrome is amazingly fast. geddit.
