One of my assingment questions asks for a named example in defining artificial insemination.
Does anyone know of a good example besides in humans.
first, define artificial insemination. artificial insemination is fertilisation by artifical means, as opposed to natural e.g. copulation. aside from in humans, such as IVF, artificial insemination is used in agriculture. cows are artifically inseminated with the sperm of bulls with desired characteristics. artificial insemination may also be used to protect endangered species, including the genetic diversity of that species.
