Need help on How to write a marketing plan ( detailed) (1 Viewer)

Hello , ive got an assessment task in a few weeks .

Basically we get an example of a situation and then write a Marketing Plan on it .

Ive read 2 business studies books ( schools and Excel ) and both give me different lay outs , i asked the teacher but he said " ill get back to you on that " and im like ... * sigh * 1 week later and he still sez the same thing .

Can some one please tell me a detailed correct layout in writing a Marketing Plan

( sorry i know there is a thread on this but its not specific enough )

There are many ways of writing an Marketing Plan, but I normally just do the 5 steps:

Step 1 - The Situational Analysis
- SWOT
- Product Analysis
- Competitor Analysis

Step 2 - Establishing Marketing Objectives
- S.M.A.R.T.

Step 3 - Identifying the Target Market
- Target Market
- Market Research

Step 4 - Developing Marketing Strategies
- Product
- Price
- Promotion
- Place

Step 5 - Implementing, Monitoring and Controlling

And yeah, that should be enough...
