I think that you should:
Say why he did his experiments - he set out to prove/disprove the blending theory of inheritance
What he did - he hand dusted pollen from plants he wanted onto the stigma of other plants..

and then show his actual cross

You could also say what made his results so reliable, valid and accurate depending on how many marks the question is worth

How much does it take? 3 marks?

I think:
- His choice of pea to carry out is massive vivisection. (reasons include: easy to grow, successive reproduction, up to 7 easily observable characteristics: flower/prod colour, seed shape/colour, height, prod shapes, flowers at the end or in the middle, not easily cross-pollinate--> can achieve pure-bred+ control their pollination)

- His first experiment to look at one trait only but carried on thousands of plants. This gives him a striking result of dominant factor. (we all know it's gene. oh la la)

- His 2nd experiment to look at 2 traits to eventually attain a divine ratio: 3:1 (actually 9:3:3:1 and generally 3: 1 when looking at certain one/two characteristics)

That's enough for 3 marks. Cheers.

maybe also mention how he interpreted his results, that is, he said parents pass down information to their offspring (dodgy wording, couldn't think of the term- is it hereditory trait? well you get what i mean)

and maybe include a punnet square showing the cross between for eg, a pure bred tall and a pure bred short and then the cross between the F1 offspring.

its an outline question so you need to give a brief summary and state the main features of his experiment which have already been mentioned

You're describing it rather than outlining. Anyway if it costs more marks, we need to write more.

Make sure you use the terminology he used. Ie dont call them 'alleles' as we do today but call them 'factor' because thats what he did, and you are describing his experiments and what he said
