I have an assessment for IPT for the Communications topic.

The scenario starts off like so..

"A country real estate agent has offices in 4 towns within an hours drive of each other. The sales staff at present use stand-alone computers for creating documents and maintaining their appointment calendars. Currently, the offices communicate using the telephone and fax machines..."

The questions are basically about email, network topologies, mail servers and the roles of a network administrator.

I was wondering if this has been a past exam question..

i don't think that your teacher would directly copy a past HSC exam question, however it is possible that they lifted it from a past trial paper.

Most of those sorts of scenario questions all sound the same anyway - IPT teachers are not renowned for their creativity....
