Is anyone else here a newbie peer networker and will be attending the Training Day On Wednesday the 6th of July?

really? that's weird!

I signed up on O Day and then they emailed me and I almost completely forgot about it. Then I went to some meeting thing with a couple of second and third years and there was another first year with me and she got in too.

If you are an exchange/study abroad student who is here for one year, or an International Student, you can join the Peer Network when you have completed one semester at UTS.

If you are a local student you need to have completed your first year at UTS before joining.

That's pretty weird.

I don't think I'll be doing any peer networking until next year. Maybe I should ask them. I'm positive they know I am a first year because we hade to fill in a form right then and there.

peer network is preyty good, u get exclusive uts jobs that pay like 20/hr + if u stay networking for 3 semesters + u get a nitty certificate from the dean.

I forgot to ask about first years joining

BUT there were two other first years with me! Cause we had to do this split into 'if you were at UTS last year' groups. And we were all from highschool. *nods*

One was an Education student and the other was Communications. I don't know if that helped.
