Hi guys, my topic is about Dowry Abuse in the South-Asian diaspora and why it is still prevalent in today's age. The topic also explores the migration of traditions throughout society, with particular prevalence in the subsequent development of certain traditions (for e.g., dowry was originally only monetary but has now adapted to material needs and even immigration demands). I would greatly appreciate anyone to respond and would greatly appreciate students of South-Asian descent in particular to respond as it caters to the demographic that I will be addressing in this PIP.
