hey peeps,
i'm currently compiling an essay on Horemheb right now..and it involves mentioning his political reforms...
The word "political" sounds so vague to me.... and after having read a few secondary sources...its starting to confuse me.
Horemheb's reforms include:
Judisciary, extortion praticed by tax collectors, connivance of royal inspectors, abolishing the Aten cult, and a return to Amun cult.
I am wondering....or PONDERING... are all of the above/or/some of the above mentioned safely included within the definition of "political reforms"?? OR...is it simply involving his erasure of Cartouches of previous kings?? (though it doesnt sound too convincing for an essay)
