[Hint: remainder may have degree 1]

Since the divisor is of degree 2 then the remainder is of degree 1. Then it can be expressed in th form ax +b
Then P(x)=(x-1)(x+2)A(x)+ ax + b
Then sub in x=1 and x=-2 and solve simultaneously
