you do ext 2 maths, advanced english and physics for crying out loud.......i think 70 UAI is a bit out of reach with those subjects :D

seriously.......of course you can get 90, 99+ if your going well

yeah...look at the document on Lazseeker site - list of scaled subjects

but still, do well enough in any subject and u'll get the rewards...but how much effort u'd need to put in to different subjects to get the same outcome, thats a different story
eg, i read somewhere here before that last yr, a 90 in business studies was equivalent (in terms of scaled marks?) to 77 in chem and 84 in bio...

but are u doing well in IPT?
remember though, that most normal 2U subjects "scale down" unless u get in the top >1% of the canditure (last yr, u had to be roughly in the top 0.2% of the state to have ur IPT hsc mark scale higher)
in other words, it might not have bad scaling, provided u aim to do very well in the course
other than that, jus continue to work on english, and u'd b set

a footnote: a friend from my school last yr did similar subjects - 4U math, eng std, ipt, and physics and he got band 6's (90's) for 3u and 4u, but he only got band 4's (70's) for the rest of his subjects and got a UAI of around 92 or 93
so yeah, kick ass in maths and u'd easily get over 90
