One of my texts im using is the film 'Batman Begins'. If any person has seen it im sure they've been able to draw some parallels bettween it and '1984'. Using my own ideas i only happed to acheive a 78% mark, and my teacher said it was not the strongest text and that she wouldnt recommend me use for the HSC. I know Batman Begins is a strong text with many aspects relating to 1984, i just didnt seem to explore\elaborate on the similarities enough in the essay. Im still contempt on using it however, so any ideas (that is if you know 'batman begins' in detail) that you have would be greatly apprieciated.

Firstly, you're "content" not "contempt" with using it.

Secondly, I'd advise you drop it. Using blockbuster films in essays = not a good move, hard to pull off. I can say I have not read one essay that's scored band 6 marks while using an extremely popular american film. Powerplay is a module that is very easy to find related material for. I strongly advise you keep looking.

heh heh yeah 'contempt' - yeah k, i think thats what my teacher meant too, i shall find a new text then- thanks
