Can someone tell me what movies there are that show powerplay?
I need to do one for a speech. I already know about Cruel Intentions. Thanx

if you want the crucible... i suggest you read the play coz it would be better. Its not that hard, i have a whole heap of notes on it cpz we studied it last year... but a few ppl at skool are doing chicago, galdiator, enemy of the state, erin brocavich (i dont know how to spell it but i mean the one wit julia roberts)

which text you use depends on what aspect of powerplay you wanted to talk about. i did a scene in The Insider where russel crowe goes into a meeting with the ceo of a tobacco company threatening him to not tell people of the enhanced addictive nature of nicotine. there were heaps of cinematography techniques to talk about, and also it had sort of a couched menace feel about it.

the main idea is that you can relate it to a scene from your set text.
