Ummmm ... I summarise the steps involved in the prac (except results, because results may/will vary) and find the independent & dependent variables.

You could be given results on a prac and be asked how the person obtained them ...

okay first make sure you understand everything.....and make sure you can use formulas.

also, brush up on the "applications to society" section for whatever topic your prac will be on - it is usually an outcome in these assessments.

you should have been given an assessment notification with all the outcomes on it - when you are writing everything up after you've done the prac, make sure you cover each one. Often it is useful to do a separate paragraph/section for each one so you don't miss any - because your teacher will be using those outcomes to mark your assessment.

i hope that was useful....the reason i stressed the outcomes thing is that i have seen so many capable students throw marks away because they didnt look at them, so don't be the next victim!
