You can go to an optus store and enquire about getting optus prepaid for your mobile.

I can do that with telstra...

l'm not sure if this is the right board :S

Just get a starter kit - it'll have credit, and a sim card, and you'll be set!

Make sure your mobile allows for other networks as sometimes they're locked to a specific network and you gotta pay like $50 to unlock them.

there are tonnes of networks out there, remember there are no more 'free time' with optus now! lol
i dont know to me, optus has crap reception at night, its just a thought!
vodofone red sim- gives you free sms's but youve gota use up the whole credit within a month. Alternatively get the normal voda sim.
virgin has cheap smses, if you are into that. was it 10c virg. to vir. and 20c to other net works.

dont know abt other net works though =]~

its 5c virgin to virgin.. where have u been during all the warren ads? lol
there is freetime.. just the people who are addicted to their phones and going to develop some form of cancer from it one day think its bad..
i didnt even use my phone that much in freetime.. i buy credit like once a month so 300 minutes each month which i dont even use.. ive got like 9 hours left
they also have a 30 c for 10 mins plan if u call people on other networks alot..

I am with Vodafone no plans, and its pretty good, cause you have a whole year to use all your credit, which is better than a month, like some companies.

Optus is getting crap. I hate the whole free 300 minutes after 9 to another prepaid mobile. Voda sounds alright, but alotta people aren't on it - same with virgin.
